    Our Oval
Our oval is well equipped with modern facilities for top-flight football as well as the occasional AFLW, National A League soccer and NRL and Super Rugby matches. The oval hosts finals series for the Southern Football League (SFL), the Old Scholars FA (OSFA) and the STJFL for all junior finals. The oval is used exclusively for football codes and is rested in the summer giving us one of the best playing surfaces in the state. The lighting is highly effective for night games and meets broadcast standards.

    Gym
Players have access to a modern gym with testing and training equipment and on-site fitness instructors. Players and members can access the gym out of hours via an electronic passkey system.

    Changerooms
Our changerooms have been upgraded and modernised to cater for women’s football. We have six team changerooms located across three locations within the ground, all with private showers and toilets and physio areas.

State Grand Final 1967, West Park, Burnie
Famous goal post-game led to the declaration of ‘no match’.

Before he could take his kick for what would have been a certain goal, the Wynyard supporters swarmed onto the ground and pulled out the goal posts.
